About JSI
JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc., and its for-profit affiliate John Snow, Inc. (JSI), are public health research and consulting firms dedicated to improving health care for individuals and communities in the United States and throughout the world. Inspired by the work of 19th-century physician Dr. John Snow, JSI strives to ensure that its staff members combine cutting-edge academic and scientific knowledge with direct community or health care experience. Our staff's broad range of expertise allows us to apply an interdisciplinary approach to meet each client's specific needs.
Since its inception in 1978, JSI has grown to more than 1,000 staff members worldwide, with expertise in public health, clinical care, research methods, economics, community development, operations, and marketing. JSI's main office is located in Boston, Massachusetts, with additional offices in Washington, DC; Atlanta, Georgia; Concord, New Hampshire; Providence, Rhode Island; Burlington, Vermont; and Denver, Colorado.
About JSI/Denver
In pursuit of JSI's mission, the Denver office has been able to develop a portfolio of projects that touch upon a wide range of public health issues. JSI/Denver has many capabilities and continues to grow to serve the changing needs of public health.
The JSI/Denver office was established in 1982 to act as the Regional Training Center for Family Planning for Region VIII under a grant from the Office of Family Planning, Office of Population Affairs, DHHS.
